A Meditative Gallery
for St. Gianna’s

Donation Form

A Digital Meditative Gallery consisting of 14 high resolution panels is being planned for St Gianna’s.
Forming a walking gallery, the panels will be located throughout the ambulatory, (seven panels on each side) creating a processional path for the praying of the Way of the Cross during the Lenten season and for the experiencing of other presentations throughout the year.
Rather than the traditional static presentation of each Station of the Cross, these panels will be versatile in their ability to project an unlimited number of images, thereby creating an opportunity for a very interesting and engaging hall of learning. For example, in May and October a gallery dedicated to Mary, in November a gallery featuring the Litany of the Saints, in Advent a presentation on the prophets of the Nativity, etc.
Each 55 inch panel is high quality in its resolution and presents art gallery quality imagery. The panels will be surrounded by a wooden frame in keeping with the wood condition throughout the ambulatory.
$120,000 is required for this project’s completion, as much work must be done to ready the infrastructure, electrical and structural to accommodate each panel.
It is our hope that this first of its kind project will be installed and fully operational for the upcoming Lenten Season. Thank you to our Knights of Columbus who have made this project the recipient of all their upcoming fundraising efforts.
The installation of one digital panel works out to $8,571.00.
