– Unveiling and Blessing

American artist John Collier, was commissioned for this sculpture and is responsible for the Statue of Saint Gianna and the Burning Bush (Tabernacle) that are now a part of St. Gianna’s sacred art.

We have all experienced great joy in the arrival of the sculpture of Mary and the long anticipated completion of this special project.  Thank you to all who have contributed to making this effort complete.  It is truly beautiful!

Several additional costs were not anticipated for this project but represent necessary work required to complete the installation of the sculpture in its location.  New framing and structural studs needed to be constructed, extensive drywall work had to be done –  including professional plastering and painting.  In addition, special accent lighting was installed to ensure that the sculpture was beautifully presented.  The additional costs of these items was $21,347.55.

As we have established Operational Financial Solvency in 2022, we are working hard to ensure this continues moving forward, therefore, we are looking to the generosity of our parishioners to assist in completing the costs of this special project.
