Knights Deliver Christmas Dinners

Missionaries of Charity – Christmas Dinner

St. Gianna Knights of Columbus and their spouses participated once again this year, in assisting the Sisters of Charity with their annual Christmas Dinner. Over 400 meals are served on Christmas day to those less fortunate or those who are shut-in their homes. Six large turkeys, six large hams and $302.00 were raised for this event. The turkeys, hams and gravies were cooked, prepared and delivered to the Sisters on December 23rd.

Thank you to all those who organized the fundraising raffle, those who donated funds, and especially to the families who cooked and prepared the food.

The Missionaries of Charity run a soup kitchen five days a week in the north end of our city and rely on donations to fulfill their mission. (167 Aikins Street, Wpg. Mb R2W 4G1)
