Bill 34 is now law in Manitoba and will protect medical professionals who choose not to participate in medical assistance in dying. Over 4,400 letters were sent from our Archdiocese of Winnipeg and from individual parishioners. Thank you to everyone who signed and sent a letter to our Premier or to their respective Member of the Legislative Assembly, and for all your prayers in protection of the conscience rights of all of our health care professionals.
