October 3, 1964 – May 7, 2026

Peacefully and surrounded by her loving family, Teresita passed away on May 7, 2026, at the age of 61.

Teresita was born in Triala Guimba, Philippines, on October 3, 1964, to Hector and Fortunata Henson.  She dedicated more than 25 years of her life to working in home care, where she compassionately served others and ensured they were treated with dignity, kindness, and respect.

Tess loved spending time on the road with her family.  She enjoyed traveling to the United States for shopping trips, visiting parks to enjoy the fresh air and unwind, occasional visits to the casino, and relaxing at home surrounded by her loved ones and pets.  She especially cherished the summer months and spending time outdoors, including fishing with her parents.

She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 40 years, Leo; her children, Jonathan (Myla), Garry, and Jason; her cherished granddaughter, Lannah; her brother, Henry (Rica) Henson; her sister, Zaida (German); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Tess was predeceased by her parents, Hector and Fortunata Henson.

A Funeral Mass was held at 11:00 a.m. on May 22, 2026, at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Church, 15 Columbia Drive.
