A number of new ministry areas have begun to be offered to help meet the members of our parish community in their various situations:

New Beginnings Ministry – for the Separated and Divorced

This ministry group provides an opportunity for those who have lived through or are living through a separation or divorce. This group is a place where solace, hope, encouragement and the gifts of our faith are better discovered and appreciated. The next meeting for the Ministry of New Beginnings will meet on Wednesday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m.

Ministry for Young Mothers

This ministry group will provide a place for young mothers and their babies to come together to find encouragement and support in their new role as moms.

Ministry for our LGBTQ2 Members

This ministry is designed to provide an opportunity for our LGBTQ2 brothers and sisters to come together to find support, encouragement, and the gifts of faith and community. This ministry will provide a safe and welcoming place of belonging.

Ministry for Catholic Singles

For those who are single, because they have never married or are divorced, separated or widowed, this is an invitation to join together to share experiences of being single in the world and in the church. This is a celebration of the unique charism of being single today as well as the opportunity to connect with other men and women who know similar experiences. This developing ministry is not a dating service or a romantic connection venue, but rather an opportunity for single people, in a relaxed and non-threatening environment, to connect with one another.

Some of these new ministry areas are in need of individuals who are willing to be a part of one of the start-up leadership teams. If one of these ministry areas speaks to your need and you are willing to be a part of the formation of a particular area, please see Fr. Darrin in-person or contact him via email.
