Updated Protocols – March 31

Dear Parishioners,

Due to the increased need to ensure the greatest physical distancing in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the Church and Office are now CLOSED until further notice and Columbarium visitation is suspended.

As these most troubling days march on, I must express my deepest gratitude to all who continue to maintain their financial commitment to St Gianna’s.  Even though we may not be able to gather during these days, the financial responsibilities of the parish do not cease to exist.  Though we have made necessary cuts in every area possible, the mortgage, utilities, insurances and taxes, as well as basic fixed costs continue.  Without the strong, ongoing financial support of our parishioners at this time, we would be in the greatest jeopardy we could ever know.  Be assured that your ongoing commitment to keep St. Gianna’s safe will be given back to you manifold in God’s providential love and care.

Let us continue to remember each other in our prayers as we look forward to the day when this unprecedented time in our world’s history is overcome and we will once again gather together in our spiritual home.

In the event of a hospital emergency or the death of a loved one, please contact the parish office and follow the prompts. All emails and voicemails will be checked on a regular basis. For Columbarium related needs, please call the direct number found on the Columbarium website: livingwaterswpg.ca

In Christ,
Fr. Darrin
