Maria Umali Yago, 71, passed away on May 19, 2023 after suffering from cervical cancer.

Maria was born on August 02, 1951 to Fausto and Cornelia Umali in Sariaya, Quezon Philippines.  In September 28, 1968, Maria and Lody got married at Sariaya Quezon.  Maria and Lody have six children, Diomedes, Federico, Gina,Doresa, Louie and Sally.

Maria retired from farming and spent her time with her children and grandchildren at Sariaya Quezon.  She first visited Winnipeg, Canada last 2012 and became a permanent resident in the year 2020.

Maria was predeceased by her husband Lody Yago and eldest son Diomedes Yago.  She is survived by Federico and Estilita, Feliza, Gina and Emmanuel, Doresa and Edwin, Louie and Luz, Sally and Glen, grandchildren James, Jeric, Jennifer, Chona, Alvin, Jemalyn, Jessie, Desiree, Jerico, Kaitlyn and great grandchildren Jessiah, Briana, Khiel, Khyle, Kyrie, and Ken.

Lamay was held at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue, on Saturday, May 27, 2023.
