The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls) will be celebrated on Friday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Gianna’s. On this day, the church celebrates those who have died and that we now assist with our prayers as they come into the fullness of eternal life in heaven.
During the month of November, we take time to remember our beloved dead in a special way. Through our individual and communal ritual prayers and celebrations, we continue to proclaim that in death, life is changed, not ended. During this month take time to:
- Remember your beloved dead in daily prayer. Perhaps keep photo(s) on display graced with flowers and candles.
- Attend the All Souls Day Liturgy and include their name(s) in the vessel of remembrance.
- Offer a Mass to be said on the anniversary day of their death. See special envelops, make a request through our website, or call the parish office.
- Make time to visit the place of burial during November.
