Serena Natural Family Planning teaches a comprehensive two hour class on the Sympto-Thermal Method, a scientifically based, highly effective method of Natural Family Planning. Seeds of Friendship Concerts

7-Day Silent Retreat based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, April 27-May 4, Offered by the Chemin Neuf Community.  The focus of the retreat is to come to know Christ more intimately through his word and to recognize God’s call in our life.  Four periods per day of personal prayer are supplemented by teaching and daily meetings with a spiritual director. Family conference: Maintaining a Culture of Life: Saturday, April 28, 9:30 a.m.- 12 noon, St. Ann’s Parish, 271 Hampton St., Winnipeg. Alison Sanders, RN, will give a presentation on NaPro technology, which offers help for infertility, repetitive miscarriages, post-partum depression, and much more. Fr. Dominic Lafleur is the parish priest at St. Malo, MB, and will speak about Humanae Vitae, on this, the 50th anniversary of the invaluable papal document. A lunch will be served. St. Ignatius Adult Education Centre Preparation Days for the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius:
A 5 Week Commitment beginning May 1. The “Exercises” are a ‘user-friendly’ way to get a new sense of how God works in our lives, how to make wise choices, how to find God in the people and experiences that fill our days.  While they require a time commitment and presume some prayer experience, they are open to anyone who seriously seeks to enhance the quality of their relationship with God.
